While I'm at it, here's another project I've been working on. An overdue rug for my Grandmother. Initially she wanted me to knit her one, but I was so uninspired with what I was coming up with that I decided to just cut up some sweaters instead. I'm hoping she likes the end result either way! Maybe I'll add some kind of stitching along the edges? Still a work in progress.

So here we go...Bias Tape Seams!
Here are some shots from a button-up top I modified from a pattern, back in May. I cut the pattern as a petite, which ended up right below my chest line, so I added a band at the waist, bias tape to the seams and made some fabric covered buttons. It was a fun project for me as I really enjoy the details. Pardon the blurriness! I'll post a final picture soon.
Materials: Printed batiste cotton, cotton bias tape
